PORCELAIN-VENEERS

Dental implants are a permanent solution for replacing one or more missing. They consist of two parts: The post, usually maded of titanium, which is installed below the gumline, and the crown, usually made of porcelain, which is anchored to the post, and which appears to be a natural tooth.

The usual procedure involves a small surgical procedure to insert the titanium post below the gumline. After a period of several months, the titanium implant becomes integrated in the jawbone and is ready for a crown. A natural looking crown is then fashioned and attached to the titanium implant.

The crown is designed to match the shade, size and shape of your surrounding teeth and should be indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Implants are an excellent alternative to bridges and dentures.

The sucess rate for implants is over 90% and is generally higher for non-smokers and for people who practice good oral hygiene. To find out if you are a candicate for dental implants please call us to schedule a consultation.
